Compensation

For too long childcare teachers have not been paid what they deserve for the enormously important job they do for our children and community.

We’re here to change that. Due to our innovative model which changes the economics of childcare, we are able to offer highly competitive wages for both full and part time, salaried and hourly roles.

Paid Time Off( PTO)

All full time employees accrue PTO based on hours worked. Employees also are able to accrue additional time off based on tenure:
Base Rate: Up to 10 days/year
1st anniversary: Up to 12 days/year
2nd anniversary: Up to 15 days/year
Childcare Discount

Full time employees receive 100% off of a membership for one child, plus all fees waived. Subsequent children are 50% off.

Part time employees receive 50% off all children.
The Nest Family Cafe Discounts

You’re part of the family! All employees receive 50% off our entire menu during their shift.
Event Discounts

From birthday parties to minishoots, employees receive 20% off ALL events run by The Nest Family Cafe!
Paid Professional Development

We provide a paid allowance for a wide variety of professional development trainings and certifications based on your role.
Teacher Workshops

We provide multiple paid workshops and training days throughout the year to ensure all our employees are getting the support they need to provide the best quality childcare to our members.
Health Insurance

All full time employees are eligible for health insurance through Anthem. We cover 100% of the employee’s premiums.
Dental Insurance

All full time employees are eligible for dental insurance through Guardian. We cover 75% of the employee’s premiums.
Vision Insurance

All full time employees are eligible for vision insurance through Guardian. We cover 75% of the employee’s premiums.
401k

We provide a starter 401k plan up to $6,000 in employee contribution. We will be looking to provide an employer match as soon as we can!
